As soon as your enter and get a table the first thing you get is a few slices of bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. The food has only 1 vegan pasta options with 2 choices of sauces : marinara and garlic chili oil. Both the pastas were great but more flavor could be added. The staff was great with us and answered all our questions about finding vegan options. The place is clean. The restaurant does not offer any vegan dessert. Overall a good one time. experience
My daughter brought me here for a Mother's Day dinner. It was a beautiful dinner. The wine was amazing and the waiter was great and the food was delicious. Though I wish I would have gotten spaghetti instead of the whole wheat noodles. The asparagus soup was so creamy and so wonderful. My husband and my daughter both had a Caesar salad and they loved them. Everyone was satisfied with their main courses. The pasta was fresh and the sauces were light and beautifully done. The only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five is because the waiter had asked me what I wanted for dessert told me what I am assuming were the house specialties and then went to the table next to me and took their order for desserts, by the time he came back to me and told me he had just sold the last slice of cheesecake which was depressing because that's what I wanted.
Stellar! We were waited on by the owner, Roland. The first thing that impressed me was he did not try to upsell us on the wine. We had a fine bottle of Barbera D'Alba for $24. For appetizers my wife had a lovely gespacho and I had sauteed vegetables. Both were excellent. For an entree, I had the cheese ravioli with pesto sauce which was quite tasty, My wife had the wild mushroom lasagne in Alfredo sauce. It was incredible. I cannot say enough how delicious it was. I think it is because the owner does not skimp on the ingredients. For dessert we got the homemade pistachio ice cream; it was wonderful. But the real treat was the chocolate grenache cake. OMG! All this plus coffee and tip, for $102. Remarkable! We loved everything about Justa Pasta.
Dinner was amazing. Roasted squash raviolis were to die for and also loved the cheesecake. Very casual atmosphere (not fancy at all) so focus was on good food, good service, and good wine. The door was open so we stayed in coats and hats while we ate and were happy to feel safe eating 'indoors '. Will totally return and eat here again!
Excellent dining. The salmon was crisp and perfectly seasoned on the outside, juicy but not undercooked inside. The ravioli is incredible. Tagliatelle were al dente and the quality of the ingredients shone through. The alfredo could use some truffle oil in my opinion, but was hearty enough and with quality cheeses. I hope I can make it back sometime.
