Apparently there was a new cook in the house, but really, 40 minutes for a fried chicken sandwich all of the components of which were clearly pre-prepared. This seems to be a running criticism of this place. And the sandwich was no great shakes either; certainly NOT an $18 sandwich! Again, a common complaint in other reviews. The waitress tried so hard to keep us happy, otherwise we would have left and the review would have been a single star. Go to this place for a beer, forget the food.
Great service and beer selection, but the French dip sandwich is a couple of slices of meat on an untoasted white bread bun. The food at Library Taphouse Kitchen should fall inline with the classy venue. Being served a sandwich that mimics airplane quality food was disappointing.
With a wall of taps, you 'll have no trouble finding a beer to suit your tastes. The downside to most 'walls of taps ' is that some less popular beers may not be very fresh. The two I selected seemed that way. Nice space.
This place is pretty great. Tasty snacks, great beers and a very nice ambient vibe. It's new Portland for sure but still pretty enjoyable. I highly recommend.
Great food and good service I would definitely come back. The only reason I wouldn't give a 5 star is because it is a bit pricey.
