Milk Glass Mrkt - Portland

It’s now a little boutique grocery, so bummed that the pandemic caused them to change from the best brunch cafe in Arbor Lodge to this current iteration which is mainly cold food to-go or limited pastries. They do look delicious if that’s what you’re after. We miss the old Milk Glass Market, please bring it back!!!

Was excited to try their vegetarian sandwich that I had heard rave reviews about on a Saturday morning. Took a couple of bites and was loving the fresh ingredients and flavor, but unfortunately we found a hair imbedded in our sandwich.

I've been coming here for years in all the different iterations. The kale salad is bomb as is the soft serve. Today we got a peach caramel sundae that was out of this world. I love that you can get a few specialty items like wine and pasta. They also carry my favorite chai from Tanglewood. I would recommend checking their hours before you visit as they vary quite a bit.

What a lovely place with excellent service and delicious, unique meals.

While milk glass is not a full cafe, they do serve wine, a couple tapas, and soft serve ice cream from the back window (right now it's only happening on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings). Very pleasant outdoor seating only with blues music on speakers. This is so my kind of place and I look forward to seeing what else they do with it .
