Multnomah Whiskey Library - Portland

As a tourist who visits Portland, I am not sure about this membership, but I felt a certain bliss after putting on our table. The place looks quite exclusive, so I was quite happy to be the outsider who finally got a chance to look behind the curtain. Best I can collect, someone in our group has a friend who lived in Portland who could get us a reservation here, so take this information for what you will. I don't drink... much... so I don't feel qualified to talk about the wide range of liqueurs (SpiRiTs). But the Oaxacan Old Fashioned I had was really good! Devil eggs. IPA braided pig bell/bascon above. Really good! Risotto (w/ pig bell). Creamy. Dick. Al dente, pig bell was tender. Really good! Sticky toffee pudding. Grey outside, soft inside. Not too sweet. Really good! Service was on point, patient and not overlaid. They took their time with the explanation of the different cocktails and happy recommended drinks to those...less experienced (aka me). This place is a real jewel. 10/10. Yeah, it's a little expensive, but you get what you pay. The staff is highly trained and incredibly knowledgeable. Tell them something you like to drink, give them a comfortable price range, and they will blow your mind. On the food side of things I often find people looking at the menu as meh. The articles may not sound like what you would normally do, but everything is delicious. Probably the best burger in town and nobody will even talk about it. It's first drinks, but the food is top notch.

The waiter was amazing. Especially kudos to Cornelius for creating the impossible flight: something from brands to satisfy a fan of smokey drinks such as mezcal and peat Scotch! Fabulous night with amazing food!! Bravo

We went to the jubilee and only WOW! As soon as the doors were opened to the second floor, I was blown away from the interior and the styling. The fireplace is super cool. I started with a mezcal cocktail that was Boozy and delicious. And the Charcuturie Board, everything on it was high quality and delicious. Thanks to MWL :

An UNREAL EXPERIENCE! We stumbled across this place and don't regret one second of our time there. We had a table downstairs and eventually got two of us upstairs to see the library. It was surreal, to say the least. Best thing we did in Portland!
