Namaste Indian Bazaar - Portland

A small, but well-stocked and organized store. They’ve got a lot of fresh herbs you can’t find anywhere else in the city. Delicious snacks, chutneys, and a takeout section too with some really delightful looking curries. Highly recommend their house made chili salt. The staff were a friendly, no-nonsense bunch.

I can't believe this place isn't rated higher! Namaste is the *best* Indian (and Polynesian) food market in town. Wonderful hot food, great spices, friendly staff, and an extremely diverse selection of ingredients.

I've been quite a few times looking for spices and they are always out of what I want. Not my favorite place.

Good place to shop Asian food. Just make sure to check the expiration dates when you buy packeted spices and food that are imported.
