NONNA - Portland

The music was sublime. It was Rebecca Kilgore (likely the best vocal of our time) The service in the bar area was great because Charlie wants to please his customers.

Delicious food and great service. we were here on nye and had a great time. Portioning were on the small side, but that meant that we had a little broth, empties and dessert filled without feeling. our server was fantastic friendly, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant meal. my only troubles are light and noise levels. it was a bit too dark for my taste, and it was hard to get a talk without raising our votes. we sat in a corner and close to a large group, so this can not always be the case.

The cauliflower was delicious, the first weingke was not good, (I sent it back) the second was better, the pasta dish caio e pepe was ok.

Pretty, juicy, delicious, excellent service for a beautiful evening.

Fun tavern atmosphere but not tavern prices. In fact, prices of dishes are not competitive. Service was friendly but minimal. Did not mention any where that there was a health and wellness tacked on to the bill. Food was nothing special. Sorry to give such a disappointing review but we were disappointed!
