The Spanish octopus was perfect, and I highly recommend the miso ice cream with the seas of cheesecocktail. Thank you to the staff who were so kind and thoughtful who wished us a happy anniversary!
This restaurant is an absolute must-try. The atmosphere is fantastic and it would be a perfect spot for business dinners, dinner with friends, or a date night. They also have a large and charming patio. The cocktail menu is creative and delightful. Their French fries are impeccable, with shoe string fries that are perfectly crispy and served with a dill dipping sauce. The seared albacore was amazing, with a spicy sweet flavor and a pineapple jalapeño topping. The stone fruit tomato salad was unexpectedly delicious. We finished the meal with the gnocchi, which was the weakest dish of the night, and a delicious dessert cheesecake that was decadent but not overly sweet. The staff were helpful and friendly, making for an overall great dining experience.
We were informed that Normandie served the best hamburger, and we were not let down. Despite never having been before, we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was only one burger option on the menu. We also tried the delicious cheese board and enjoyed a Kolsch-style beer, which rivaled those I've had in Germany. The seating by the window was a nice touch that we particularly enjoyed.
This restaurant is a great choice for a lovely dinner out. We sampled a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. The raw oysters were fresh and had a firm, salty texture, while the broiled oysters were smoky and flavorful. The Ribs were thick, fatty, and packed with umami flavor, with a delightful sweet and salty sesame taste. The burger was like a meaty French onion soup on a roll – soft, tender, and juicy. The Gnocchi with Crab and Mushrooms was creamy and bursting with flavor. The drinks were fantastic, and even their house red wine was excellent.
Fantastic experience for the Valentine's day tasting menu. The tuna was incredibly fresh and delicious, the crab beignets were paired perfectly with berry jam and goat cheese creme. The pork gnocchi was way too sweet however. Everything else was wonderfuland enjoyed. Will be back.
