My wife and I hadn't visited this place in over six years, but returning to Portland had us looking for it again. The Brussels sprouts are amazing—it's really the one thing we remember from our last visit. Food: 5/5.
I spent a total of $30 on my meal, which included a beef pho with an extra order of meatballs for $4, as well as a Kirin beer. The beef pho was just average; I’ve definitely had better at this restaurant before. There were only a few small slices of beef in it. As for the meatballs, for an extra $4, I received just four halves of tiny meatballs. Overall, I felt let down by the portion size in relation to the price I paid. While I don't mind paying $20 for a bowl of pho, it should come with a reasonable amount of food. I understand that times are tough, but this experience just didn’t sit right with me.
Fantastic pho. Fresh greens. Friendly staff. Fast service. Good portions. Outdoor seating. Reasonable prices. This is the best I’ve had outside of Vietnam.
We love this place- fresh, beautiful, healthy, and with a touch of special. We order the bowls with chicken. Plentiful perfectly fresh greens, perfectly grilled chicken, brown rice optional, and a fresh piquant sauce. The marinated radish and bits of mint elevate the bowl. Service is always friendly and efficient.
