We enjoyed the lobster dinner and lobster roll. The location is quite nice when the conditions are such that it is nice to be outside.
You place your order first and then receive a seat with an order number to display at your table. My husband ordered the lobster roll, while I opted for the clam chowder. Unfortunately, we were both quite disappointed with the food. The lobster was rubbery and lacked seasoning, making the roll unremarkable. The fries, however, were crispy and well-salted—definitely the highlight of our meal. As for the clam chowder, it was watery and entirely devoid of any spices. I attempted to add salt and pepper, but the damp environment made it difficult for the salt to come out. The chowder contained only a few tasteless clam pieces and some potatoes and onions. Overall, this experience did not satisfy our lobster cravings at all. On a positive note, the bartender was very friendly, and the rest of the staff was polite, though they seemed to be working hard. I've had much better seafood during my time in Florida. The live music, however, was quite enjoyable.
Best place to eat lobster rolls in all of Portland!!! The service is amazing. The food? Even more so. 7 out of 5 stars.
This was a really great spot right on the water to grab a delicious lobster roll. We got a cup of clam chowder, 2 lobster rolls, and a grilled cheese for my son. It was a bit expensive, but everything was delicious and the service was quick. Can't recommend it enough.
