Reel M Inn - Portland

I tried this place several years ago and returned today. The food was consistently excellent, if not even better than before. We particularly loved the chicken tenders since they were easier to dip. The chicken legs had a better texture and were juicier, while the tenders were a bit drier, though still very tasty. We were fans of the sauces. The chicken tender meal was ideal for dipping, while the chicken leg meal was still quite good, albeit harder to dip. The chicken legs were juicy and crispy. I actually preferred the JoJo potatoes over the chicken sauces, which included honey mustard, sweet chili, and house-made ranch.

This restaurant is dog-friendly, which I really appreciated. I enjoyed the bar and the overall atmosphere. While we were waiting for our chicken, I had a little encounter with a lovely dog, although there was also a not-so-great dog in the mix.

"You remember that scene in The Dark Knight where Bruce Wayne climbs a mountain to find a blue flower, symbolizing his journey to becoming who he was meant to be? That experience felt remarkably similar to my visit to this restaurant. Just like Bruce's climb, the journey here was a truly transformative experience."
