Rock Bottom Brewery Restaurant - Portland

A friend for lunch. Everyone we met was kind. Great service, good food and beer.

The noise level was too high for us to comfortably conduct the group talk we wanted because we got both kitchen noises and guest noises. Otherwise everything was great.

Fund raiser going on. Wish I was there for that reason!

I made reservations for 10 of us. When I made the reservation online it asked me to write a note for anything that might be important. In my note I mentioned it was a birthday of one of our friends who was coming. I asked that the brewery do something for her birthday. I didn't think that note would be taken seriously so I called the day before and talked to a hostess and asked her if they could do something for her birthday. She said yes, and they didn't even acknowlege her birthday. Our server never came by to check on us. The beer was mediocre, the food was OK. Over all the experience was average at best. With so many options in Portland it's clear I will not be back.

The restaurant was empty but they placed us right by the kitchen. Service and food were ok but nothing unique. Not sure it would be my first choice for a downtown destination but was convenient for some out of towners staying nearby. Just ok...
