Rue - Portland

We went for the NYE shopping card that looked amazing on paper. However, everyone was extremely rich and bigger than I used for a tasting meal. it was so rich and so much I could not finish the meal. Moreover, there were at least 20 minutes between the curses. I thought six courses 2 hours no 3 hours and 15 minutes later I asked to make my dessert and box for the bill. I would go back to try the regular menu and sit at the bar maybe better service.

That was a real sound. interesting dishes and weeps that were delicious. not the old ding.

Loved the cocktails and small tellers. the otopus and the black bells were both excellent.

The food was excellent, but the service was above the tip. oh, the cocktails were also great. highest review I ever given and deserved.

Five course chef sampler did not disappoint. The opening course of pickled beets, huckleberry, orange custard was incrediblely delightful and perhaps the most memorable simply because I expected nothing from it. Textures , balance of flavors...everything I was hoping to experience, it was all there.
