Shari's Cafe And Pies - Portland

I had the breakfast sampler that was better than Dennys from a long shot. the prices were high as most restaurants post covid, but they served much larger portions. the coffee is excellent and the service was great.

This Shari's Restaurant is a pretty good place to come and get some food and drinks. The restaurant is pretty much what you would expect from any Shari's you would visit. This one in particular is fairly clean, and the waitresses there are friendly and seem to know what they're about. The food was pretty good and filling. So definitely visit this one next time you're in the area, and save room for pie!

Good place family friendly environment. Make sure you wear a mask at this place, they are pretty strict about that. On every other aspect they are super friendly and the service and experience is great. On the mask situation they are strict. Be aware they may not have everything on the menu all the time since they as well as many other restaurants have supply chain issues. I have been there 6 times so far and only times they didn't have the 1st item i ordered. With a pretty broad menu it was easy to find something else to order.

Nice to see they are 24 hours again because the other option would have been Denny's near mall 205.... Which is kinda sketchy after midnight. Food was as good as I remembered. Our waitress was fantastic and super friendly, as well as being funny. The atmosphere at 3 am was definitely more relaxed than I was expecting, which is fine by me. Thanks to my weird schedule, it's hard to find a good meal besides fast food this late. They will always be a good pick, especially for breakfast. I recommend this location due to the proximity of the airport and the freeway, and being a short drive from where I live.

Look, it's a Shari's. You are going to get exactly what you expect from Shari's. Avoid the dinner menu, absolutely order the pancakes and pie. Don't look too closely at the surrounding area, focus on the delicious bacon and well cooked eggs. A huge shout out to our server. Name tag was Cassandra but receipt was Danielle so not 100% sure. But you were such a lovely human and made the entire night a joy. Thank you for your attentiveness, kindness, humor, and just cheerful personality. Pulling a night shift at a 24-hour place can be rough and I truly appreciate your demeanor.
