My friend and I had missed our last reservation and were glad to rewrite. After check in our table was not quite ready, so we sat in a small waiting area and got a few glasses of wine. As soon as our table was ready, we sat and gave bread for the table. For our appetizer we share a bowl of white bean soup, absolutely delicious. For Entrees my friend went with the lobster special and I chose the mussels and linguins. We need to see how our food is prepared parallel to us, it was great! Our food, it's waiting! Delicious, fresh, amazing, and that only begins to describe it! I highly recommend you will not be disappointed.
Excellent 4.5. I would suggest seafood all day and the sole never disappoints . The service was good however get there early and enjoy a cocktail. Top choice with new selections every month
Wonderful food and the dessert is delicious! Love the panna cotta and chocolate mousse! Love the grilled octopus. The salmon pate is a bit salty for my taste. Love my Nocoise salad! Wonderful green beans. Make sure to make reservations because it?s super popular!
Loved my dinner with my husband when we visited Maine for the first time. The mussels in garlic wine sauce was my favorite appetizer and is a large portion so definitely to be shared and definitely to have bread dipped into the sauce. My husband got the scallop dish and I got the Atlantic cod, both of which were perfect. Not the cheapest but worth the value. Definitely would come back.
My friend and I legitimately wandered into the restaurant with absolutely no idea what the name was. The entrance literally is in a sketchy, abandoned alley way that you shouldn 't walk down alone. They got us a walk in table last minute and the whole experience was AMAZING. Staff was so friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Their menu differs daily evidently. Their menu focused on seafood, compared to their sister restaurant Fore Street Restaurant up the road from them, who focus on land meats and veggies. (We ended up visiting that place the next night cuz why not). Pictured was their unique menu that night of a whole grilled lobster on top of a bed of spaghetti and white garlic sauce, and my friend had gotten their scallops in a white wine sauced spaghetti. Yes, they came served on a giant, sizzling skillet! And also pictured, a bottle of their Moscato we shared. It was the best, unexpected surprise of a restaurant experience EVER. It can be a fancy experience, or literal casual experience they don 't discriminate! Evident by us showing up looking raggedy for a quick meal ?
