Sunny's Pizza - Portland

I placed an order for a pizza and tiramisu over the phone. My total came to $41, but when I arrived it was $50.49. I was charged 15% service and wellness fees, which seemed unnecessary. The owner's decision to add these fees, presumably to increase profits, was frustrating. To top it off, my order was incorrect - I specifically asked for fresh tomatoes, which was confirmed twice by the worker, but instead received boiled sun-dried tomatoes for an extra $3 topping. The food also arrived early and was cold. Overall, this experience was disappointing and I doubt I will be returning to this restaurant.

Sunny's pizza is absolutely delicious! My go-to meal is usually a salad, a slice of pizza, and a beer - it's the perfect combination. And don't forget to check out their great happy hour every day at 8:00!

Tonight, I had the best pizza I've ever eaten. I'm a vegetarian, which can mean pizzas with vegetables, but always lacks in taste. I ordered a Veggie Pesto and cannot put in words how deep the different levels of flavors made this pizza from all the others that came before it. Fabulous dough, not too thick or thin, and really delicious. But it was the pesto that made the pizza number one in my book. It sealed the deal for me. I encourage all meat eaters out there to try to see how this Veggie Pesto can stand on a meat love pizza every day!

I liked this place and their pizza, but the last experience was very disappointing. I ordered my pizza online, and I got a message that in 45 min will be ready. I got there when my status was saying order ready to pickup. I was told 15 min more to wait, and it will be ready. After those 15 min, another person told me about 10 min more? I waited those 10 mins to be told that I have another 15 min to wait. Busy night I get it, but after waiting 40 minutes waiting time over the initial 45minutes, I get home to see that our dinner is fully burned and impossible to eat. So disappointing; this is not the first time when we get our pizza burned like this.
