The shop seemed to be an old gas station or garage shop back in the day. It was a smart conversion of an older building. Though there wasn 't much in the way of a throwback to the original business in terms of aesthetic. It also felt like the inside decor still had a lot of covid precautions as part of the general layout and ordering system. One door to enter, line goes through, and exits the other door. There was also a pretty large area dedicated to online order pickups. Upon first arrival, the line seemed a little long, but it went by pretty quickly. I was a bit bummed that I could not get vanilla (or any flavors) in my latte, but oat milk was available as an option which helped saved my vision of drinking a cozy hot coffee. The baked goods on display all made my mouth water (maybe I was just hungry), but I could only choose one! I went with the jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Sadly, the husband picked the same as me, so I wasn 't even able to pull the classic partner card to sample something that I didn 't order. Haha! The biscuit was a little cold, but it was still very fluffy and soft. I would go back strictly for the biscuit. Indoor seating was scarce, but we found a spot at one end of a picnic table out on the patio. There were a lot of bees for some reason. It was pretty annoying, and I was grateful we didn 't order anything too sweet. Tandem was able to provide a little pick-me-up before hitting Highway 1 to explore more of the Maine coast.
Wow!! That breakfast sandwich with sausage was amazing!!!! Better than I could of imagined. The quiche was cooked perfectly. It's very good!! Go check it out!! Get there early before they run out, it's that good.
Okay I walked by this place and there was a big line so I kept walking on. And in my ventures upon my return by the same spot they were less people. So I decided to peek in. I opted not to get coffee this time around but I just got three cookies in a scone. I got one each of their cookies and each one had its own character and they were made with pure love. The scone will be for breakfast tomorrow. This place has a little bit of a hipster vibe to it, but they obviously mean good baking and you can tell they use quality ingredients.
OHMIGOD the jalapeño cheddar biscuits . We went back two days in a row for them. You have to order as soon as they open, and get there before they open to get in line because they sell out of everything so fast. We would drive to Portland just for these biscuits! Sticky bun was also delish.
Extremely popular bakery with a solid selection of baked goods and drinks I came here with my GF on a Sunday morning and the line was huge! It moved fairly quickly however The indoor seating section is small, but they have a bunch of picnic tables outside. Although their is a lot of seats outside, there are a crazy amount of bees as well! When I came here with my GF I got a sticky bun and a malt iced coffee . They were both solid, and we were lucky enough to grab one of the few indoor tables
