This is my new favorite go to neighborhood spot with great chef specials and prices. Friendly costumer service and very reasonable prices. It's a no frills type of place and the love they craft into their dishes is reflected. I try to get something new every time and it usually doesn't disappoint.
Super annoyed that their website doesn't reflect their current pricing. Ordered to go and I was kind of blind sided by the price difference due to the wrong price on their website and I was also charged dinner pricing at 1pm in the afternoon. I couldn't tip because I brought enough cash for the food and to tip but was charged almost $3 more per meal so on top of being annoyed I also looked like an ****. Their food meh nothing to be too stoked about. Not horrible but not somewhere I would go back for especially with the high price!
Our favorite Thai take-out place in Portland. Great value for food. Highly recommend their tender beef curries, the beef just melts in your mouth!
We Originally planned on eating at the Vietnamese restaurant next door to Thai BBQ. But we both realized their was nothing on the menu over there that we could eat. Too bad Thai BBQ was not that great. Because the dinning room is cute and cozy. My friend Ordered shrimp tempura, and BBQ chicken. I ordered Papaya salad and asparagus and friend. The papaya salad was not bad tasted good. But the portion was small and they do not include any sticky rice nor does it have lime in it like its supposed to. My asparagus and friend was overly salty and the portion was small. Also I don't understand why some restaurants do this but all of the veggies were cut up very small and tiny. My friend ate some of his BBQ chicken but was was not enjoying it. He said it was not bbq'd but instead it was baked. He also said it was very bland. He ended up boxing up more then 3/4 of it to give to a homeless person. The prices here are about the same as most places. The reason for the 2 stars: small portions, overly salty entree, no sticky rice included with papaya salad, and no spice. I asked for hot and their was no spice at all. On a positive note...the waitress was friendly , attentive and personable.
