I have brought various extra-city visitors (also in-town) and all had a good time, even the very ones. once we went to a friend's birthday and someone brought a cashew cheesecake. we have checked with the staff to make sure that it was in order to eat it on the terrace after we had dinner and they asked if it was vegan (yes, it was) and then gave us paper plates and cutlery to shake it. top and beyond service and engagement to keep it vegan. I like the brezel knots, peanut tofu shells and rose palms (iron tee with lemon and rosmarin).
Solid vegan pub food in the heart of Alberta Arts district.
The food at The Bye and Bye was FANTASTIC! It’s not an exaggeration when I say this was one of my favourite vegan restaurants I’ve ever visited. The food was amazing, with great prices and large portions. The atmosphere was also great, with a huge outdoor seating area and a lively crowd of patrons. We ordered the broccoli peanut sauce tofu bowl, the burger, edamame, and a berry flavoured cake. All of the food was delicious and I don’t have any complaints. Definitely more than enough food to fill up and have some leftovers. This restaurant definitely deserves a visit!
I had the peanut ginger shell and my man had the Obie shell. Pretzel nodes were a big starter choice, both a little sharp, but not too much.
We traveled here for the Ruben but it was no longer on the menu. Instead we had the broccoli bowl and Mac and cheese. Updated from previous review on 2022-07-27
