The Portland Ale House is my go-to! Amazing food, great happy hour specials, and we love the ale house IPA! Plus Tiffany C. Is the best! She always makes sure we have a good time, every time :

Ordered 27 to-go lunches for a work event and I showed up to pick them up early and they were ready to go, boxed and bagged up with names on all of the meals. The staff that was there was super friendly and helped me take the bags to the car. All 27 people had nothing but great things to say about the food. I had the Rueben sandwich and it was excellent. The beer tap list looked pretty good too, so I’ll be stopping in there again to sample a few. I recommend this place and will order again for certain.

The service was great so no complaints there. My issue was definitely the food. My friend had a chicken pot pie which was just a chicken pot pie adjacent soup that was served in a bread bowl. It was like something you could get from Panera for half the price. Calling this a pie is a disservice. I had the fish and chips. The chips were cooked very well, but the fish was overcooked. I do appreciate that it was fresh fish and battered in house, but it could have used a minute less in the fry basket.Also my friend wanted me to edit here : the chicken pot pie was also incredibly bland.

Absolutely love this place! Been coming here for 2 years and have never been disappointed. Wendy is the best bartender, super friendly and amazing bartender! All employees are very welcoming and friendly.Would highly recommend the burgers! The quesadilla with chicken is an amazing appetizer to share. Had almost every item on the menu and love every dish.
