Chill atmosphere, service was friendly and quick, and the food was exactly what I wanted after a long, cold workday. Glad it was a short walk from my hotel!

This spot is so unassuming in every way. You would never expect them to have delicious food. Visiting from NYC and we have GOOD food. We ordered the pork potatoes, gnocchi and fish and chips and everything was so darn delicious, including the coleslaw and potato salad! Everything was cooked perfectly, balanced well with the sides and great taste! Plus, customer service was excellent. We ordered for takeout and still highly recommend it!

I come to CBG regularly since I live in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is very “dad who drinks shlitz and goes on hunting trips”. I come for the happy meals and the cocktails. $5 for a beer and a shot. $11 for a top notch cocktail, best price in the city. If you’re lucky, a handsome dark haired guy in a pineapple shirt will make you a specialty spiked Shirley temple. A very industry friendly bar.
