Villa Angel Taqueria - Portland

I ordered the birria tacos, and while the meat and tortillas were delicious, the consomé was quite thin and lacked flavor. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

I ordered a straightforward chicken bowl along with horchata, and I can confidently say it was a solid 10 out of 10 in quality. I highly recommend it to anyone craving Mexican food. Much love! Food rating: 5/5.

This spot is by my work and it's my absolute favorite lunch option, so delicious every single time! The service is always friendly, the wait isn't too bad for how fresh the food is, and the ingredients feel very fresh and high quality! Honestly my favorite Mexican food in all of Portland. Try their verde sauce- If they ever decide to bottle it I'd be buying in bulk!
