Yoshi's Sushi - Portland

Yoshi's is definitely my favorite place for sushi in Southwest Portland. The ingredients are consistently fresh, and the rolls are creative. My only complaint is that the menu is a bit limited, but I wouldn't take away a star for that because everything on the menu is delicious and always satisfies!

Yoshi serves the best sushi in southwest Portland, without a doubt. The freshness of his fish and competitive prices are unbeatable! I highly recommend it to everyone, regardless of where you're coming from in Portland. You simply have to try the salmon nigiri—it's amazing! He truly is the best!

This place truly proves that food cart sushi is the best you can find. It settles the debate once and for all: yes, food cart sushi is exceptional, and you definitely need to give it a try.

I didn't get much interaction with the cart staff but they got my food done pretty quick. I highly suggest the lime green roll. I went with the way they presented I on the menu, which is vegan. Whether you get the salmon(+extra or just the plain roll, it was plenty delicious. Also went with the special of the day which was the Hamachi yellowtail nigiri. Usually when I find food cart sushi they tend to over season the vinegar rice, but Yoshi sushi does an awesome rice. Will be back to try more dishes if I am in the area.

Japanese food and the scene here is better than most. Got there near five, it wasn't very busy. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. The bill was decent.
