Terlingua - Portland

Some of the best briskete I had. tacos were great, cocktails are great. smoked truthahn was on the spot. the only reason why it is not 5 stars was the menu space on leisure. I love meat, but a few options would be nice. Maybe I missed them in the menu. the outside spaces are fantastic. really well done.

Amazing bbq and soul warming pozol suppe. To be honest, if you love pozole, you have to try terlingua. grilled mac and cheese was amazing and unique. Top notch bbq and cocktails. Finally, great people, they sit outside and parade in a rest.

They get lobster or oyster or pizza or literally any other meal. our server was very hospitable and the decor was cool, but wow they should not just get bbq in maine. the brisket was wet like a wobbly meat, that's not how it should be. just like briquettes, which were excavated in water before serving. I was surprised to see rave reviews about bbq in maine and I am even more surprised now that I see that this restaurant has bambus people in pay $20 for two tacos! please get only a lobster.

Terlingua is a great place. super fun vibe outside and the staff are all really nice and very funny. the bbq is pretty good. the Tostada salad was incredible! they also have a large cocktail selection and over 10 beers on tap. the BBQ plate is good. the flesh is all smokey. the sausage was great, wished we had more of it. it is a fun place in portland. in any case, the visit is worthwhile as they explore all new/fun spots through the city. the prices are reasonable.

Terlingua is absolutely a Portland hidden gem. Tucked away in Munjoy Hill, it is a sweet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city to a quiet, quaint, colorful and relaxing outdoor (and indoor) dining experience. They’ve done an amazing job with providing lots of multi-level, three-season seating options outdoors. Their staff is kind and attentive. Their food is done well— very well. Everything we’ve had has been top notch. I cannot wait to go back for more! Stop into Terlingua if you’re looking for some great BBQ in Portland with a chill outdoor seating area!
