The dishes were homemade, creative, and used seasonal ingredients, which made them very flavorful and wholesome. We were impressed that there were no processed ingredients like Beyond or Impossible products used. Both items surpassed our expectations and were much more interesting than the menu let on. The Beet Mushroom Toast was a standout dish, made with roasted and glazed beets, crimini mushrooms, and grilled tofu. It was a gourmet and abundant dish that was far from ordinary. The Harvest Bowl was also a pleasant surprise, not your average boring bowl, but rather a fantastic creation that also included grilled tofu. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was charming. We highly recommend this place for a delicious and satisfying meal.
I thoroughly enjoyed the harvest bowl, which was filled with carrot, sweet potato, cabbage, and tofu, all topped with salsa verde. In addition to regular dairy options, they offer oat milk for those who prefer non-dairy alternatives. The cappuccino also impressed me with its quality.
Located in the west end, this charming little restaurant may be off the typical tourist path, but it serves up a delicious vegan breakfast. I ordered the harvest bowl with crispy tofu, topped with a unique salsa verde that I had never experienced before. At the neighboring table, a diner enjoyed the beet mushroom toast, which also looked amazing. What's more, the restaurant includes a 20% gratuity on all checks to ensure fair wages for their staff. Well done, Ruby's! If I lived nearby, I would definitely become a regular customer.
This place is super cute and has very yummy vegan options. I got the harvest bowl with tofu and it was delicious. The sauce added a really nice tangy flavor. I’ll definitely come back again!
The place is really cute, romantic and homey at the same time. Great fabrics, color and design. The owners did a fantastic job making everyone feel welcome and the service was fast and friendly. The food was really delicious and they have strong cocktails. There were at least two vegan dishes on the menu, include a tofu dish, which is what I got. It feels like a lot of high-end date restaurants in town have vegan dish without any protien, just pasta or something with an absence of meat or dairy. It was nice that the owner/chef actually made a vegan dish that had protien and veggies.
