Port of Call cafe - Portland

While on vacation, I stumbled upon POC on Google Maps during my search for a morning takeaway coffee. After reading positive reviews about their coffee, I decided to give it a try. The bustling atmosphere upon arrival was a good sign, and the friendly staff wasted no time in taking orders from the queue. Despite a slight delay in placing my order, I was impressed by the prompt and friendly service. I didn't have to wait long for my coffee, and overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Well done to the team at POC!

The food is excellent, the staff is lovely, and the cafe is comfortable. I highly recommend this place. I also appreciate that they were able to make my favorite spearmint milkshake, which is usually hard to find.

Quick service. Lovely staff. Great prices. Loved the half size of milkshake. Pancakes with eggs and bacon simple but exactly what I wanted!

We were lucky to grab a window side table in this airy establishment where I grabbed a mug of mocha and a burger with the lot. The mocha was extra large so I was surprised to see that they sell an even bigger cup which they call a 'bucket '. The burger with the lot had a slight twist: grilled pineapple. I personally liked the caramelized pineapple with the egg, meat and cheese combo; it was savoury with a slight sweetness like a fruity chutney. Allround, this place has good food. They sell a lot of it too. I counted 70 something items on the menu, not including the cakes in the stall. Come to Port of Call, they treat you well and you will leave feeling full.

The best coffee in Portland with exceptional customer service. I enjoyed a delicious avocado toast for breakfast.
