Royal Garden - Portlaoise

My sister and I ordered food from this restaurant and discovered hair in every dish we received. When we brought it to the attention of the staff, they were unhelpful and refused to give us a refund, citing that we had already opened the food. Additionally, they threatened to involve the police when we complained. We were appalled by their response and their disrespectful behavior. We have decided not to order from this restaurant in the future.

Beef curry but the beef is extremely stringy,big lumps of onions not even chopped up properly the chips could are not cooked for long enough....Royal garden gone to the dogs

Bought hot and sour soup, texture like glue, no idea what they did there. Chicken satay has literally burnt my mouth off, I'm blowing my nose as I speak. My girlfriend had what looked like soggy beef curtains pasted in gel. Tried calling after we got home and no reply at all. Don't know how they even have any good reviews chefs obviously have no idea what they are doing and just add spice to everything the only thing I enjoyed was the bottle of coke.... that we bought in the shop next door.

I have to admit that my orders are often wrong at this restaurant. Though the woman at the counter is pleasant, it's disappointing to find out the error after leaving the restaurant. It's a shame because the food is truly tasty.

The food was incredible, the lady at the front desk was very friendly, and this restaurant is the top choice for Chinese cuisine in Portlaoise.
