Contribuisci feedbackI write this as I am still sat in the establishment, waiting to be noticed, it's been 30 minutes since we finished our mains and I'm still waiting to get someone's attention so I can get a dessert, at this stage we're going to leave it and just go home. Very disappointed overall, the new staff need serious training it was a disaster from start to finish. We were seated in the other bar on the left hand side when you come through the door and then it's like we were forgotten about. It's been impossible to get staffs attention and the food isn't great. So much attention to detail goes into the presentation it's like they've forgotten about the taste. If something isn't broke why fix it. Why get rid of the carvery? Why change the gravy? Why change the chips? The chips are so different now it's like like chips have been cooked in sesame seed oil. The chips the bog road did before were lovely they had this lovely taste to them. I'm really disappointed they changed this. I'll be writing the same review when the make and mark get their own TripAdvisor as this whole experience has been a joke. Ps. This is a stupid name everyone i talked to gets tongue tied trying to say it, what does it even mean?
I used to visit this restaurant when there was a carvery. Now it's table servce and you have to wait to be seated. I would prefer to choose my own table as before. Service is slow and the music is ridiculously loud at lunch time. I won't be returning
I have visited the Bog Road many times and have always received great service, until tonight. It was my mother's birthday and when we were served our drinks, the waitress accidentally spilled a pint of Heineken all over me before the meal even arrived. The staff apologized, but did not offer any compensation. We paid our bill for 7 people, which was expensive. I asked to speak with a manager to express my dissatisfaction with the lack of compensation for the spill. The manager just kept saying it was an accident, despite the fact that I was left smelling of Heineken. I am very disappointed and feel that the management does not value their local customers. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I waited over an hour for my food to be served, and when my steak arrived, it was cooked much rarer than I had requested. I will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant to others.
I travel frequently, so when I come across wings and burgers, I consider myself quite the critic. I must say, the wings and pulled pork burger at this restaurant are among the best I've ever had.
