I was a little suspicious of eating, so I went with my old favorite steak. my partner. had a garnel concoction with a whirl and agitation. I'm afraid eating hasn't met our needs. everything was done to order, but it was just not so good.
During our five-day stay in porto we ate here three times. if they think there are literally thousands of places to eat in porto, there is a reason why we came here three times. the owners. and our waitress marcella. the food was excellent. traditional Portuguese to something that is not so traditional. it on one of the busiest roads (rue de flores flower street), where it would expect the tourist to fall meal. not so here, great eating and great place. reasonable prices. steak with mushroom sauce and. an old and sweet potato were just perfect. port was excellent. vino verde super. table outside where people are as entertaining as the street artists. when they catch the local gitarist who sings Portuguese borrower, they have come up that they will never forget. eat them here. they remain from falling on the ribera near the water. only a few unforgettable evenings here. but it is the popular of portugal, the people who possess and work here, that made it unforgettable.
My wife and I ate here during our first week in Portugal. The two young men as waitstaff are quiet friendly and helpful. My wife had the octopus and I had the “black pork secrets of bolota” with a bottle of red wine. Both dishes...were excellent. The secret of th pork is that the pig is fed acorns with gave a really nice taste. Yum-Yum! The location is on The touristy Rue das Flores, but that’s okay. We had to return on our last night in Porto for a repeat servings. We were fortunate as we were the first to try their new lime pie. Definitely will be a hit. Larry Kelly, Georgetown, Texas
