I think this place is awesome. Great selection of cafe drinks and eats that go well together. Delicious, solid and great modern feel.

I love this spot. The service was great. I only speak a bit of Portuguese so they sent over some English speakers . I’ve never tried caipirinha with coffee so I was a bit worried. It ended being really, really good. I also didn’t feel rushed or like people were hovering over me so I was able to get some work done. Highly recommended.

Café República is awesome , an oasis of legitimate, non-pretentious, delicious coffee in Cidade Baixa District. This Cafe provides a great alternative to the traditional cafes in the area. The staff are always super nice and friendly, and they take the time to brew your coffee one cup at a time on the spot so it 's always fresh. It 's a great spot whether you just want to post up somewhere and do some work/reading (it 's small, but it 's okay.
