Contribuisci feedbackWe stayed in Porto Santo for 2 weeks in June and arranged the booking of this restaurant through our hotel. The people from the restaurant came and picked us up from the hotel and dropped us back afterwards. The location is fantastic and the barn conversation the restaurant is in is amazing. The owners are fantastic but do not speak much English but makes the whole experience even better.
I had the highest expectations about this restaurant but it was a complete disappointment. Each meal dose is only enough for one person. We tasted "espetada". The meat is good but it is not different from any other restaurant. The price of all the products is extraordinarily overrated, not reflecting the desired and expected quality / quantity. Free transport from the hotel, despite the information from driver that only could take us back in a group.There's a need to improve the English. Only Portuguese is spoken. Do not recommend; there is better and cheaper in Porto Santo.

A terrific lunch!They come pick you up at your hotel and drive you to their beautiful, rustic restaurant (and back).You start with some very delicious Presunto (cured ham), cheese and homemade bread. Then you can choose from different kinds of grilled meats and fishes, that are served with the some very tasteful potatoes and vegetables, grown locally.And last comes the best Maracuja dessert we have tried in Porto Santo.Portions are big, service excellent and value for money outstanding.
We were spending a couple of nights on Porto Santo and liked the sound of this place. We made a reservation and took advantage of the free pick up service. The restaurant was nearly empty but we were made to feel very welcome. The setting was idealic with vines all around. The meal was by no means haute cuisine but real food in a beautiful setting. The fish and meat were excellent but the potatoes and salad had so much flavour we assumed they had just been picked and cooked. The big screen TV in the restaurant seemed out of place but only added to the quirkiness of the evening. If you are bored with homogenised hotel food give this a try. We had a great evening!
