The boss Jojo, a colorful character and his team strives to satisfy you and make you spend a good time!!! The atmosphere and good Corsican products are at the rendezvous. Not to miss...
In a cozy alley of porto vecchio, jojo welcomes you with real pleasure and it is shared: quality local products (discovered elsewhere) and a warm atmosphere. We leave the belly full and the head full of memories. if you want to change commercial places and catch the tourist, you are at the right address
If you want to keep a nice and pleasant souvenir of the beautiful land of Corse avoid this place. Despite the nice location, in the old citadel, the food is horrible the prices are high with no reasons. Service is ok, but this is not...sufficient to overcome the disappointment. CB not accepted
This is an easily overlooked outdoor resto near the church on a tiny side street in the old town. Seated on picnic tables it's always packed. The owner actually asked one of the locals iwho was having a drink if he would move to accommodate...us. The carte is listed on blackboards and represent very typical Corse cuisine, earthy and rustic. The best dish was haricots, which was a cassoulet-style earthy stew with large beans, meat and sausage in a rich sauce. Also good was the ubiquitous veal sauté also in a rich and flavorful sauce. The ravioli was overcooked and had little texture. As the evening went on, service got a bit erratic, as server and owner ate their dinner. I was hoping to have the homemade myrte digestif which was offered to other tables, and presented earlier in the meal, but alas, it never came. This was an enjoyable experience, unique and funky in its location, ambience and noteworthy for the typicity of rustic country cooking.
Surprised to see the many negative reviews. We had a good overall experience. Service was very good and friendly, even though the restaurant was full. The two servers rushed around and seemed to service all tables in a very capable manner. We had a dorado...fish (good, but not great flavor as typical of dorado) and a pizza very good). House wine was pleasant. Found prices to be good for Corsica. All in all, a pleasant experience.
