Baron's Pub Restaurant - Portsmouth

One of many local pubs in Portsmouth, also has a location in suffolk. Tables were full at lunch. One waitress was able to take care of everyone efficiently. My Reuben sandwich was tasty but the fries were a disappointment. I have had a burger in the Suffolk location that was good.

I ordered for pick up?.terrible start off with no condiments no forks spoons napkins. Ordered the most expensive meal taste like a $5 dollar meal. The steak taste like charcoal Mac n cheese look like they just threw a slice of cheese on top tried to mix it up no flavor cheese taste at all . Coleslaw taste like they threw beer in it ???? throwing everything away going to try restore the steak later by adding seasoning olive oil butter garlic ???? geeesh what a waste of my money

Went to this for the first time and they seem highly under-staffed. There was only one waitress who was struggling to keep up with all the tables. Despite this she maintained a positive attitude. But due to the amount of work that was required of her it was impossible for truly good service. Therefore we left the minimum tip, and felt guilty because it wasn?t her fault. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. We ordered a large pizza which was absolutely delicious and way more than 2 people could eat. The drink menu leans toward the beer side but their mixed drinks are phenomenal as well.
