Clements' Marketplace - Portsmouth

One of the best grocery stores. It is a bit more expensive, but it is worth getting the cost and longer drive there. You have TONS from prefabricated dishes, bakery items, gourmet popcorn and some great local stuff. The staff is super friendly and since it is a smaller market, it is less “commercial” feeling.

I really enjoy Clements; it's very convenient for me to stop there on my way home from work. However, I do have a downside to mention: I used to always grab chicken tenders from the hot bar. The last time I got them (which was months ago), they didn't taste the same, and after taking a closer look, they all appeared to be the same. It seems like the quality of the chicken has declined and it no longer feels fresh.

The prices are a bit higher than what you'd find at a typical grocery store, but since people here dress nicely, I'm willing to pay that extra. The meals are excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

This rest is very nice. Very high end and the goods are very good. Although it has a whole food Vibe the prices are easy to exaggerate and it takes away from the potential that this place has!

Clements is a great place to shop and the staff is awesome. But why can't somebody make a pasta salad and cole slaw worthy of their reputation? Great tasting freah sides for summer bbq's would be fantastic. Stop mailing it in, please??!
