Dwyer's Pub - Portsmouth

This is a friendly neighborhood bar where both the food and service were excellent. We unexpectedly found ourselves at their Tuesday night trivia, which was the best I've ever experienced. Matt does a fantastic job preparing the questions and is also a great DJ. Rich, the emcee, runs a truly entertaining show; he's incredibly funny and really dedicated to making the experience enjoyable.

I visited this restaurant for brunch, and it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. It took an hour for our food to arrive, and one order of eggs took even longer—by the time it finally came, most of us had already finished our meals. The hash was unappetizing and bland. The chimichanga was only about 4 inches long, and I was still left feeling hungry. To make matters worse, I thought there was bacon inside the chimichanga, but it turned out to be microwave bacon served on the side. The prices have doubled recently, as the restaurant seems to be trying to turn into a fancy dining establishment rather than sticking to its roots as a casual pub. I will definitely not be returning.

Bartender was excellent. drinking were before local eating decent...hadow the buffalo flower and brezel. what turned out was the outer strip very professional.

Run don’t walk to enjoy the best chicken sandwich you’ve ever had. I can’t stop thinking about it. I wish I took photos. It’s the juiciest piece of chicken ever and you can get it fried or grilled. Their French fries are to die for too. We love Dwyer’s!!
