Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Portsmouth

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, but the staff could use some additional training. I ordered the chicken for $14.99 and six biscuits for $2.50, which should have been under $20 with taxes included. However, I was charged $36.59 and was told it was due to taxes. I can’t understand how that makes sense.

I generally enjoy Popeye's, but this time they didn't quite meet expectations. The fries were dry and a bit tough, and the regular fish sandwich was overloaded with delicious sauce, making it rather messy. I won't complain about the slow service since I visited during the dinner rush.

The atmosphere in there is hilarious! The food tastes just like Popeyes. The tables are clean. You can have a great time anywhere, so keep in mind that fast food places often anticipate a bit of disrespect, but just go in with a smile and spread some positivity!
