Tuscan Kitchen - Portsmouth

I recently discovered an amazing new restaurant in Portsmouth, located in an old bank that still features the impressive original bank doors! The interior is sleek and stylish with high ceilings, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I felt very safe during my visit, especially in light of COVID precautions. My group requested a private seating area, and they kindly accommodated us with our own room! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the manager went out of his way to help us by turning on the game we wanted to watch on the nearby TV. The food was outstanding, particularly the delicious bread and oil, as well as the Bolognese and burger! I highly recommend checking out this place since they've just opened and could really use the support. Thank you, Toscana!

The pasta I ordered was absolutely delicious! However, I was quite disappointed with the Caesar salad.

Recently, the owner decided to separate the Tuscan Kitchen from the Tuscan Market. The Tuscan Kitchen remains at its location on Route 1 Bypass in Portsmouth, while the Tuscan Market is relocating to downtown Portsmouth at 14 Market Square. This will make it more convenient for local residents, although it might pose a challenge for those traveling from a distance. If you’re celebrating a special occasion like an anniversary, be sure to call ahead; the staff will go out of their way to make your visit unforgettable. We have never been disappointed here.

Fantastic experience!!! Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. The starter to dessert were all amazing and the specials were both delicious and unique! What a perfect Valentine dinner!!!!

What an awesome date night. My husband got the HUGE bone in rib eye and I got the filet. Both were cooked perfectly. The bearnaise sauce was incredible as was the marscarpone mashed potatoes to accompany it. We got the crispy motz app which was AMAZING. service was great, people were nice. Love this place. Have been before and will be back again. Love the space and love that we have this downtown!
