Mario's Italian - Portsmouth City

A friend recommended this restaurant to us, and I'm so glad she did! At first glance, I thought it looked more like a bar, but I couldn't have been more mistaken. This place is truly a hidden gem! The pizza was absolutely amazing—definitely one of the best I've ever had, if not the very best.

As a State Farm Agent in Portsmouth, I always aim to support local businesses. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Mario's last Friday, and we were extremely satisfied with our experience. The food and service were both excellent, and we will certainly be returning. Thank you, Mario's, for a wonderful night!

This place has become amazing since the ownership changed a few years ago. The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively and enjoyable.

I starting eating Mario's pizza when it was in downtown Portsmouth, still love their pizza as well as some if the other delicious dishes on the menu. AND, my sons their wives also love their pizza. What more can I say?
