The food was amazing, we all ordered the Mega Breakfast and it was cooked to perfection. The prices were very reasonable as well. We couldn't resist trying a slice of the delicious looking homemade bakewell cake. The staff, especially Liz, were all very friendly and made our experience even better.
I visited Victoria Park with my grandchildren and decided to stop at this restaurant for a coffee. The experience of sitting in the park surrounded by dappled shade, squirrels, and birds was lovely. Even though we didn't have a meal this time, the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel welcome. I believe it was one of the best cappuccinos I've had in a while, and I would definitely go back.
Excellent coffee and great, fresh sandwiches really good coffee, great fresh bread I had one of the best fish finger sandwiches ever highly recommended
Please go and support them- you can Pay It Forward and get a voucher for someone who needs it to get a hot drink or snack. I was not rushed at all and if I hadn't already had lunch I would have eaten here.
We had breakfast here two days running. The staff were efficient, freindly and helpful. The premises are clean and pleasant with both indoor and outdoor seating. There is an excellent breakfast menu and the food was freshly prepared and of very high quality. I had...a fish finger sandwich on exquisite granary bread on the first morning and poached eggs on toast on the second. Both beautifully prepared and excellent value for money. We learnt that Cafe in the Park' is a non-profit sicial enterprise which helps formerly homeless people develop the skills and confidence to get back into mainstream work, which is another excellent reason for popping in if you're in the area.
