Part of the theatre. Fixed menu bookable on the web.Bookings offered at which is far too early for an start . Our service was prompt but a bit forgetful. The menu was exactly the same as we had had weeks earlier, but...the composition of the trifle was different. There was only one white wine available and it was not good. The food was not too bad and the bread was very good. Having booked and paid for courses we were charged for a pudding! At the request of some people (who weren't even eating) the balcony door was opened and left open which made it a bit chilly. All in all we felt we were in the hands of people who didn't care. The response to the complaints we mentioned to them were apologetic, but we (like most people) made little fuss why raise your own blood pressure?

A beautiful, small, hidden gem and a curse from the hectic and the city. the picturesque vintage decoration transports it to another place and time. eating is delicious (I had the honey and soy roasted salmon flatcake) and good quality, and the personal are friendly. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.

A real hidden gem! treated some friends for lunch and we were all impressed by the variety and quality of the inexpensive menu. the personal was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. use their seats on the balcony, it has added our experience on a beautiful sunny day. will definitely be back.
