The Good Companion - Portsmouth

Came for dinner on Christmas Day alongside family. Have to say the food starters/main’s/desserts were amazingly tasty, The only downfall I have is the veg sprouts on the main could have been cooked a bit more but apart from that everything else was perfect. Service was quick and met all expectations. Definitely recommend this pub to anyone who likes a quiet pub/restaurant.

We had breakfast with Santa, omg it was amazing Santa came round to the table the children loved it. Breakfast was brilliant lovely and hot the presents were fantastic. So a massive thank you to all the hard working staff especially Sam and Scott who went above and beyond. Book us in for next year please .

Lovely pub, the staff are great, very friendly and can't do enough for you. The good honest pub grub is always hot and presented well, great for a quick lunch or an early evening meal. Honestly can't fault this place.

Excellent food, staff and atmosphere. The staff can't do enough for you. And are also a dog friendly pub with a doggie food menu. Will definitely be coming back.
