We have eaten at Torre Salazar with our tour group of 42. The service started with salad with tuna slices on top...delicious. The second course was shrimps...what a taste ..wonderful...and the main dish was meat ...you cook on your table as you wish...I should not forget to mention the wine..Rioja.
The tourist info guided us to this place, we could not enter first, you have to ring to enter, but the view is nice and the menu of the day was perfect, place to recommend, strange the restaurant does not have its own site on TA
We had lunch here with a group we were travelling with. The attraction to visit Portugalete and this restaurant was the unique suspension bridge nearby. The highlight of the visit, however, proved to be the restaurant. All of the dishes offered for the lunch were outstanding. The portions were generous, and the price was very reasonable. Better yet, the views from the dining room are excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant to those visiting the area. It is a relatively short trip up from Bilbao and worth the journey. And, if you are here, be sure to visit the bridge, which is quite unique!
