Sweetly Anchored Patisserie - Potomac

The cake itself was moist, and the icing was rich without being overwhelming. Both the chocolate and vanilla layers were delicious. I also ordered three quiches that were all fantastic, along with a dozen cake pops. Everything was a hit, and I couldn’t be happier! The staff was incredibly helpful. Lindsey took my order and even sent me an email with a lovely "Oh Boy!" topper that matched the colors and font of the invitation. When I arrived to pick everything up, the young man at the counter was friendly and accommodating. He provided reheating instructions for the quiches on the box, so I wouldn't forget. He even carefully placed the cake in my car, securing it on my sister-in-law's lap with a seatbelt to prevent it from moving around. He gave us detailed instructions on how to handle and unbox it when we got home. This cake truly made the party! Thank you, Sweetly Anchored! You've won my loyalty for sure!

I stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a dessert to bring to a Yom Kippur gathering, and it was a delightful surprise. The staff was extremely helpful in guiding me to the perfect choice. I ended up getting a dozen gourmet cupcakes, which had fantastic designs (I wish I had taken a better photo of them). Everyone at the party absolutely loved them. I’ll definitely return whenever I need something sweet to impress my friends and family!

Lindsay and her team created the cake for my daughter's first birthday, and we couldn't have been happier. We provided them with a picture of what we envisioned, and the final result surpassed our expectations—it was even better than the photo! The cake was such a masterpiece that we hesitated to cut into it. Our guests raved about how delicious it was, and by the end of the party, there was no cake left! We also enjoy stopping by Sweetly Anchored every time we're in Cabin John; there’s always something new to try, and the coffee is fantastic too.

I just wanted to give a scream to the companies that go out to support the nurses and doctors on the front lines during this time. Wow! We feel supported and loved. This bakery is a true hidden gem. From the family friendly atmosphere to the delicious pastries, you’ll have a wonderful experience. I also highly recommend indulging in a rejuvenating matcha latte. The owner is truly passionate in all that she does.
