When we finally sat, we waited for every service. We asked the servers twice if they were able to take our order, but this was not to be feared. In the end we left the restaurant when the staff was so...rude. I would suggest avoiding this place. Bad manners should not be tolerated.

Stopped here for a lunch while on a biking tour. This restaurant is just across the yard from Brandenburg Gate and it's quite near the city centre. Had the mix grill plate which was not bad. The weather was good on the day so decided...to sit outside the garden and enjoy a good meal with good company. Plenty of beer choices too.

This is our restaurant in Potsdam for German-Austrian cuisine. The Pfifferlinge-Menu was excellent. I had the pork medals and my wife had the grilled chicken. We have been eating here for 10 years and are never disappointed. I have always found it as a...experience for the other German-Austrian restaurants in the centre of Potsdam. Location is excellent, very close to the entrance to the Sans Souci Park, the pedestrian zone and directly opposite the tram stop that will take you back to the Potsdamer Hbf. The garden is beautiful. The food is very good and the staff is friendly and attentive. Our waiter spoke perfectly English (as he told us, after 9 years of study! Thank you and see you in Potsdam!

We went to the Prussian palaces and were cold after our tours (no heat). I looked at the Google map and saw food places at this bus stop. We were not disappointed. The fish was fresh and fixed in a variety of ways we haven't...seen before. All good and then came the apple strudel which was moist and made like Mom's. Good way to end the day.
