Abbiamo fatto un ottimo pasto a Billy Kwong. In realtà, può succedere che il nome cinese sia migliore, il che mi ricorda le famiglie e i parenti. I dipendenti erano gentili e disponibili. Visualizza tutti i feedback.
Very tasty eating at this place. so sad that ut will close soon. the fried rice was pointed notch. bleeding were skrumbling. the service was fast and attentive. very excited for their new concept resteraunt!
A cool and ingenious restaurant in potts point! the duck with the plant sauce (not on the menu, but ask them to try it is amazing. very tasty Asian fusion dishes with great vibes and open kitchens and bar!
We have been dining at Billy Kwong's for over 15 years when we visit Sydney from Melbourne. It has always been great & last night's dinner kept the standard. Beautiful Prawn & Ginger dumplings in a wonderful sauce, excellent shui mai, steamed snapper in a beautiful broth, followed by duck in blood orange & plum broth. The Kylie Kwong Heathcote Rose & Barossa Shiraz were perfect wines with the food.It is a MUST GO TO restaurant.
I enjoy going to Billy Kwong. On this occasion I dined with family and friends. The restaurant, as always, was full and buzzing. Staff were polite, attentive, and helpful. Despite a diversity of tastes, we ordered a number of dishes to share and they were enjoyed by all. The food was well presented. My only disappointment was that the nice chocolate dessert was not on offer, but the desserts that we had were very, very good. Unless you are particularly hard to please, Billy Kwong makes for a great night out - whether seated on the stools near the bar or at the tables. It is the right restaurant in the right place for the 2011 set.
I went to Billy Kwong last night with my boyfriend. The food was quite nice (interesting flavours), although a little on the pricey side. A couple of particularly disappointing aspects:1. We ordered a carafe of wine, and we were given a small taste. It tasted oxidised, and on questioning the waiter eventually told us the particular bottled had been open from the day before. He took our questions as a personal affront, and was vaguely rude for the remainder of the dining experience.2. I told the waitress when we arrived that i was gluten free, and she indicated that most things on the menu were fine (other than wonton and dumplings). Although I steered clear of these things, I later had a reaction to the food consistent with having been 'glutened'.
