Great food. good menu. personal friendly, very competent (they move quickly.) can sit outside, literally on the street. as much to see as at the corner of the roslyn street and ward avenue. big weinlist not too expensive.
We recently visited the Stanley Street location of this restaurant in Darlinghurst for lunch. They also have two other locations in Drummoyne and Potts Point. The atmosphere was fun and casual, with traditional red paper lanterns decorating the outdoor deck and tables. The service was fast and the staff were friendly, even offering to charge our phones for us while we dined. The menu mainly consists of noodles, which is reflected in the restaurant's name. The portions are generous, making it easy to share with a large group. Prices are affordable, typically ranging between $9 and $10.50. Our favorite dish was the lemongrass and chicken, which had a great taste. The dim sum and shrimp dumplings were also very good. The only dish we didn't particularly enjoy was the $13 dish - it was flavorful but a bit too heavy and spicy for our liking. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return to try more dumplings. One thing to note is that it can be a bit confusing to find the restaurant, so be sure to plan ahead.
The service at this restaurant was terrible and the staff seemed uninterested. The menu was limited and the BYO option was overpriced at $15 per person. The wine list was cheap and not up to par for a location like Elizabeth Bay/ Potts Point. The Marc Bredon Classic Vouvray I brought was better than what was offered on the menu. The Akasha IPA was a good choice to start with. The dumplings were average and nothing stood out as exceptional. Overall, the experience was not memorable and I would not return.
Large small restaurant for delicious noodles and wine, beer and cocktails. all we had was Yam-Baro beans particularly delicious. will come back in any case!
