The Roosevelt - Potts Point

Loved the Sunday roast, only $25 per person. Delicious food! Didn't have any cocktails but the table next to us did and they looked great! Walked past a few times and it was always busy and had some weekly deals which are too good to miss if you are passing by on that day. Make sure you visit. Great service by staff. My only gripe is they didn't clear our plates and we had to ask for the bill, normally in Oz they grab your plate as soon as you are done. But that is me trying to find a fault! Food was fab, if I'm ever back in Sydney which I hope to be I'll definitely return.

Love the venue. Shame about the really tardy service. We popped in for a drink pre dinner. Robot delivery of wine and cocktail list a while after we arrived. Had to try and grab the one waitress on the floor to order. Drinks finally made and sitting on counter but waitress out chatting and pouring water around the bar not even noticing. Fi ally the bar tender left the bar to deliver the drinks. I ordered a **** Mary which must have been the most boring tasteless **** Mary I have ever had. Two tiny tins of tomato juice and no garnish and no complex mixers or real flavour. Hard to stuff up a **** Mary but these guys can. We ordered a glass of Chardonnay which was bland also. My **** Mary was served with a metal straw which tasted metallic and is such a dumb idea. No nibbles unless you order off the menu. No hint of service or a smile from anyone. The room looks great and it looks like a great whisky collection. Wouldn't go back based on this very poor experience.

Went for a friend's hen's night in the private room at the back. Was a great space, although the music was a bit loud. Was very happy with the set menu. Delicious food. The cocktails were really good too but very expensive.
