East Garden Chinese Food - Poughkeepsie

I was pleasantly surprised by the General Tso's veggie chicken; it was absolutely delicious! I was a bit hesitant to try it, but it turned out to be well worth it. I will definitely be ordering it again!

The General Tso's and sesame chicken were disappointing, resembling low-quality Chinese takeout. The lo mein lacked flavor and substance. Overall, the food seemed bland and lacking in effort. The only highlight was the sweet and sour sauce, although it might have come straight from a can.

The food was excellent! I really enjoyed the chicken noodle soup; it was the best I've had in a long time!

Food was fresh but the price I paid almost $20 I got a small white container and a small container of rice and when I called to complain the manager says if I went to the store it would've cost me $8 and that DoorDash inflates the price from now on I will be going to the store

Ordered scallops in garlic sauce I think maybe two scallops! I order this all the time from another place really two for close to $20 !
