La carne de vaca fileteado todo un éxito, por no hablar de los postres lo mejorcito pudin espectacular y la rebanada poveira ni que decir. Volveremos sin duda otra vez.
What a treat! We got the best grilled seasoned gambas ever for starters. This was followed up by fresh grilled sardines and octopus- -again perfectly seasoned with delicious sauces. We had a fantastic Douro white wine that the restaurant had carefully picked themselves. Please bear in mind that this recommendation is from a chef from Copenhagen that travel a lot and have visited many restaurants. Best regards Lone and Peter
I was serve a delicious Portuguese lunch of the highest caliber. I ordered baked fresh cod with locally made breadcrumbs with vegetables and smashed potatoes. It was buttery and perfectly cooked. As part of the meal I had a fried cod appetizer (like a fish cake), olives, bread and cheese.
Walking with friends we found this lovely restaurant by accident. Lots of local families eating there which was a good sign. Beautiful array of starters that we shared between us. Two types of cod as a main course. All absolutely delicious. Beautiful home made deserts. All accompanied by a delicious white wine specially bottled for the Casa Cecilia. Great service. And great value.
