Decent portions, tastes ok. We got khao soi (level 10) and rambutan salad. Salad was decent but the khao soi was sweet despite requesting the highest spice level. Chicken drumsticks provided with it smelled funky and it was very noodle heavy, not much broth and veggies/sprouts. Easy access, three reserved parking spots but there's also lots offree parking spots in the lot outside.
This is typical Asian food for westerners, it's not bad but not authentic. Most westerners will give it a good rank, but I bet the real Thai won't. Remember, it won't be authentic once the menu is English only.
We went for the 1st time yesterday because my sister saw a good review on their wings. We ordered wings and fried dumplings as an appetizer , chicken fried rice (spice level 3) and orange chicken and everything was delicious! my husband, sister , nephew and myself were beyond impressed with how good the food was. Def recommend !
First time here. Got the appetizer sampler, tom kha with chicken, eggplant basil with chicken, duck penang curry with jasmine rice. -Appetizer: overall fresh, refreshing and light. -Tom Kha: very good balance of coconut and kefir lime. Very creamy. I enjoyed this the most. -Eggplant basil: I thought this was going to be a stir fry like other thai restaurants, but it was topped with a gravy. Could definitely use more basil. -penang curry with duck: could use more duck. Meat: large generous-sized slices, but I 'd prefer them to be cut smaller, ie bite size. Spice level: ranges from 1-10. We got a 4, and it barely tickled our tongues. If you want something medium probably go for a 6. Thai Jasmine Rice? : this is the main reason I give this place 3 stars. The rice was on the dry side, but most importantly, it did not look, smell, or taste like thai jasmine rice. It didn 't have the fragrance or the same chew as thai jasmine rice. There were little brown lines on the side of the rice grains. Might be some kind of american rice? (Sorry I didn 't get a picture of it when it came out, but here 's a picture of it in the To-go box). Anyway, I wasn 't a fan of the rice and it 's kind of an important element to thai food. Service: the waiter was super nice and tentative. Came by at least 4 times to check on us.
