Sushi Lounge Poway

Sushi Lounge is my favorite sushi place in Poway, they have outdoor eating and heat lamps. Their sushi quality is always fresh. They also have some good vegetarian rolls.

The sushi is awesome and the lunch special price is great. The waitress Hailey is on the spot great service with a positive attitude and smile. Highly recommend the Sushi Lounge in Poway.

I went to this restaurant for lunch and although the lunch options were limited, I decided to order items from the regular menu. We opted for two lunch items from section B for $16.95 each - the crunchy roll and shrimp tempura roll. I also ordered the Lazy Chef specialty roll and a mixed tempura with shrimp and veggies. The lunch special came with a bowl of miso soup, which unfortunately was too salty to drink. The standout roll for me was the Lazy Chef, which was deep-fried and filled with eel, salmon, avocado, and imitation crab. I accidentally forgot to ask for no cream cheese but it actually complemented the roll well with the creamy avocado. Overall, I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars, only docking half a star for the miso soup. Rounded up to 4 stars.

We arrived at the restaurant after a day of fishing on the MLK holiday weekend. It seemed like they were not very busy, but we think they were short on servers. Nonetheless, they still took care of us.
